You may see us throw around the word “exclusive” a lot when it comes to our vinyl record pressings. It’s time to explain what makes our records stand out from the rest!

OUR RECORDS AREN’T AVAILABLE FROM ANY OTHER RETAILER

Magnolia Record Club features custom vinyl records not available anywhere else. That means you won’t find them at your local record shop, Target, Amazon, Best Buy, or anywhere else you usually buy your vinyl records. We like to keep our pressings one-of-a-kind, and as you may have seen, we love to get as wacky as we can with the vinyl color and design! Splatter vinyl? You got it. Half-and-half colors? Absolutely. Glow-in-the-dark? Why not?

PRESSING QUANTITIES ARE VERY LIMITED, AND ARE USUALLY ONLY PRESSED ONCE

Another way we bring exclusive vinyl to music lovers is that we don’t make that many copies of each pressing. We limit them so our members and our store customers get to have a unique experience, and the opportunity to own a piece that’s truly special from their favorite artists or newly discovered artists. Typically we run around 2,500 pieces of each Record of the Month (although that number is growing every day), and anywhere from 500 to 2,500 for the Magnolia Store exclusive pre-orders, depending on the album.

Additionally, with a few exceptions, most of our exclusive colored vinyl doesn’t get pressed again after it runs out. So when you see a record from one of your favorite artists up for sale in the Club or the Store, jump on it quickly, because once these rare vinyl are gone, they’re gone!

OUR DIFFERENT LAYERS OF EXCLUSIVITY

Being a part of a club is special for a lot of reasons – the community, the camaraderie, the shared interests, and more. We love that so many people who are passionate about music and about vinyl are part of Magnolia Record Club, and we want to make sure their experience with each vinyl subscription box is special. We do that in a few ways. First, we put any extra stock of past Records of the Month (all of which are exclusive color vinyl) into our Swap options, so it stays within the sphere of the Club and only members have access to those pressings if they choose to replace a Record of the Month. 

Another way we try to make our Club members feel special is by allowing them first access to select Magnolia Record Store Pre-orders. We offer rare and custom vinyl records to everyone on the Store, but our members can get the chance to order certain albums before they’re open to the public – a pretty amazing opportunity, if you ask us!
